The Old Cottage has great character and was the original
farmhouse. It has thick limestone walls and oak beams in
the lounge. It is covered in flowering creepers from May
to September.
The garden room leading from the lounge has been much
appreciated by all our guests. It has a slate roof and therefore
never becomes too hot or too cold. Here you can dine, listen
to music, or just relax. Song birds such as whitethroat, graden
warbler and linnet are also frequent visitors. Aspiring
artists have found inspiration from the views over the
fields to the woods beyond.
The Old Cottage sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 children (2
double bedrooms with views over the garden to the fields beyond and one small bunk room, upstairs), family bathroom and downstairs guest toilet. Ample car parking spaces available.
