The Surrounding Area

Those of us who are fortunate enough to live here think that
Silverdale has its own "special magic". The limestone
pavement, mixed woodlands, numerous coastland walks are
just outside the back door. The RSPB reserve of Leighton
Moss, with its elusive bitterns, is nearby and there are
also excellent opportunities for fishing, horse riding, cycling
and golf.

We are ideally situated for the Lake District, Yorkshire
Dales, Lancaster, Kendal and Morecambe, With the Lake
District National Park, the historic city of Lancaster and
Morecambe Bay all only a short journey away, there is
always plenty to see and do whilst staying at the
Wolf House Cottages.
